| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 30, 2008 This beer pours a nice amber color with a thick head. The flavor starts out nice and strong, but I don’t like how it ends. It’s a fair ESB, but that’s it. hoplover (166), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 21, 2008 Tastey beer! Pours a clear amber colour with a small white head. toasty, a hint of smoke and delightfully bitter. Not overly acidic, balanced citrus fruit flavors. kidmartinek (986), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 12, 2008 Copper color, mostly clear except for a few bubbles. 2 inch foamy head that lasts a whle. Smells like dirty, slightly sour, pale malt. Flavor of pale, bland slightly bitter malt with a little bit of a doughy taste. Rich texture, almost creamy. Clumpy lacing. Ful body, full flavor and full finish. ilovedarkbeer (1365), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 5, 2008 Pours a very nice brilliant amber color with a medium sized foamy white head. Nose is caramel and bitter malts with some floral hops. Taste is mild and bitter somewhat watery and alcohol is well hidden at 6.1 percent. Very average on every level but a well crafted beer. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Pours a perfectly cloudy amber, with just a touch of ivory head. Aroma is light with a touch of citrus. Flavor is perfectly bitter, and the Goldings come through like a proper ESB should. Its a shame more American ESBs don’t use the Goldings like Bridgeport does. Palate is a thin (in accordance with the style), but a bit fizzy and dry. Overall one of my favorite ESBs. Well done Bridgeport. tkimbrought05 (37), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Apr 10, 2008 Bottle. Nice dark yellow/orange coloring. Kind of muggy. Not much of a head or lacing to speak of. Goes the same for aroma, you really have to look for this one, maybe a little bit of hops. Pretty smooth going down, nice citrus and a bit of honey, with a touch of malt. Not really bitter at all. Would recommend this beer as a sessioner.
