Commercial Description:
A refreshing extra pale ale, Haymaker features a distinct blend of four malts and three varieties of hops that create a slightly complex ale with a light body and a crisp finish. Its alcohol by volume of 5.3% complements the low bitterness - 15 bittering units - and original gravity of 12.8 degrees Plato. Bright golden in color, it can best be described as "sunshine in a glass."

12 oz. bottle for me. Lacks depth, but that’s what made it nice. Easy drinking and refreshing enough for me, with little aftertaste. It’s a good ale to keep around in the fridge when you just want grab a quick one.

From a six pack the cost &7.98 this poured clear yellow with white head and light lacing. Nose of light malts and light hops. Lively and crisp mouthfeel. Flavor is slightly sweet and some hops are there. Not a lot of finish. Not bad but overall kind of ordinary.

Clear gold with a thin head. Pale malt, grainy aroma. Medium body. Lots of lightly sweet pale malt grain flavors here with no real hop action. Easy drinking on a hot day.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear straw with a thin head. Light aroma of malt and ligthly hopped. Flavor is dominated by a subtle sweet maltiness. I actually thought this was a wheat beer. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is crisp. Decent session, I am just not sure that it represents the true style of an APA.

This is a realy good, smooth, lighter kinda beer. Lightly hopped, but distinct hop presence. Real good and simple.

Bottle. Pours gold, with a white head and bit of initial chill haze. Light body, medium carbonation. Aroma of toffee, earth citrus, and grass. Lightly sweet taste, just a little peachy, with more toffee and grass. Crisp citrus finish. Not a bad little lawnmower beer.

Draft @ Bridgeport in Portland. Mostly clear straw colored body. Nose of skunked grains and hazy and dry, twangy, strange hops (moldy). Flavor is malt-forward but thin on the palate, skunky and twangy, simple and sour grains. Not good.

Draft. A hazy pale golden beer with a thin head. The aroma is sweet with with light notes of citrus, while the flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is thin.
