Commercial Description:
A refreshing extra pale ale, Haymaker features a distinct blend of four malts and three varieties of hops that create a slightly complex ale with a light body and a crisp finish. Its alcohol by volume of 5.3% complements the low bitterness - 15 bittering units - and original gravity of 12.8 degrees Plato. Bright golden in color, it can best be described as "sunshine in a glass."

Pours gold with a thick yet short lived white head. Aroma is bready with banana and citrus notes. Flavor has green apple, hop, banan, bread, grapefruit. Finishes slightly sweet, decent carbonation. Interesting. Thanks RiversideAK!

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white, mostly diminshing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (grapefruit), lightly yeasty (dough), with a light note of metal shavings. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Kinda boring, lean, and uninspiring. Ok, but I can’t find much to say.

Pours a light straw amber color with medium white head and plenty of carbonation. Pronounced citrus flavor and slightly stringent hops overtones. Not a bad brew, but not great either. I might pair this brew with a brawny, earthy flavored food to offset its weak character, yet highlight its high points (I’m thinking a grilled balsamic-marinated portabello burger with spinach/arugula side salad).

A golden pour wiht foamy lite white head. Aroma of no hops and light malt smells much more like a lager than an apa. Very little malt or hops just not much flavor. Thin and foamy. Just a drinkable beer, better than BMC but just barely. apa?

12oz bottle: pours golden yellow with quick fading head, aroma of stingy malt. flavor is why you can figure out why its called haymaker, each drink has a huge hit of CO2 and not so sweet malt its like a punch inside your mouth. not a bad beer but wouldnt buy again.

Pours golden with high carbonation and a small head. Aroma is dry, hoppy, vinous. Initial taste is bland malt, followed by moderate hop bitterness. Balanced sweetness. Mild fruitiness in the finish. Bridgeport continues to slide.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small diminishing white head. Aromas of straw, yeast and lemon. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw and light citrus with a crisp lightly bitter finish.
