hop_lover (156), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA Jun 10, 2008 This is a realy good, smooth, lighter kinda beer. Lightly hopped, but distinct hop presence. Real good and simple. ndubs360 (57), portland, Oregon, USA Aug 19, 2007 Good balance of hops and malts.Beautiful gold color, smooth, great summer bbq beer. almost in that hazy area between a pale ale and a lager. citrus is present. llcooldave (180), San Antonio, Texas, USA Apr 5, 2008 Nice lemon yellow looking color. Slightly cloudy. Decent head with beautiful lacing. Wonderful hoppy/floral aroma. Even better slightly bitter lemony taste. Not a bad beer. Paired really well with crackers and smoked cheese. A new session beer for me! jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA Aug 6, 2007 From a 12 oz. bottle, no freshness date, short blurb on the neck label, sampled in nonic glass.
A nice blonde appearance, clear orangey golden with a frothy white head, fair amount of sticking, settled into a thin lacing.
Husky, grassy grains, bready, banana fruity, citric and floral, an appealing nose.
Crisp and dry, creamy light body, pale malty tastes, sweet fruity, bready and a dry graininess, combination of orange and lemon peels, softly spicy hops, dry malty finish with a light spiciness.
This is an nice summertime seasonal, goes down easy on a muggy August evening, refreshing taste.
Feinschmecker (129), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 23, 2007 Bottle. Slightly hazy golden color with a complex floral hop bouquet. Flavor is clean with hops in the front and the malt taking the backseat. There are hints of orange and a little caramel. An unusual interpretation, but actually very drinkable.
