Pours a mostly clear amber color with a short lived beige head. Smell is hoppy, and fruity, but kind of chees like at the same time. Ok smell. Taste is nicely balanced between sweet candy like malt and fruity flavorful hops. I little bitterness in the finish the lingers with a light alcohol flavor, but overall this is pretty nice. Some pine flavor as well, and a decent mouthfeel and carbonation. Good beer.

Decent IIPA. Pours a slightly cloudy amber. Aroma is all grapefruit. Flavor is a grapefruit bitter with some notes of pine. Smooth on the palate, but burns the throat a little.

22oz bottle: pours a hazy amber with big creamy off white head, aroma of hops and hints of malt flavor isnt over the top hoppy and could use a little mpore malt backbone cause it’s a little watered down on the malt side. good brew.

Pours lightly hazy and dark, earthy, orange-amber in color. A small, cream colored head is frothy and bubbly. Scattered, sudsy spots and lines of lace mark the glass. The aroma is very bitter and "green" smelling overall. Sharp, fresh cut grass and stewed kafir lime leaves show over a toasty, bready malt base. The flavor shows bitter lemon and lime rinds, more boiled leafy notes, toasted bready, ad lightly sweet toffee. Medium-plus in body with moderate carbonation, the slightly astringent finish shows lingering, bitter lime. This is a very different kind of IIPA. I’m thinking Sorachi Ace hops play a big role here, based on the lemon-lime profile. Decent overall, but a little too astringent and quirky.

Dark amber with a rocky head, nice lacing. Medium strong aroma of piney hops with sweet mango, citrusy orange. Medium body. Good taste is caramel malt with a pine sap, orange, mango sweet hop cocktail. Enjoyed this one.

Pleasant aroma of citrus. Pale amber color. Very smooth mouth feel. Very well balanced. A big amount of hops up front, slight bit of alcohol taste and yeast. I can’t help but think I taste a bit of pine. Nice clean, well-balanced finish. Another good Imperial IPA that’s not overtly hoppy, but is instead well balanced. Probably one of the most drinkable Imperial IPAs I’ve had.

22. Pours a deep burnished coppery dark amber with a thick and moussy off-white head. Big gorgeous nose of oranges, pineapples, maybe some sweet cream. Looks and smells pretty fantastic. Body’s a little on the high side of medium, a bit creamy. Some sweet toffee tang in there, followed up by lots of sharp bitter wood resin pithiness. I mean lots...just wizens out into this sharpness that’s not really complemented by anything. It’s a great effect, but it needs something to play off of for the beer to be genuinely drinkable overall.
