Very nice looking beer, with an abundant creamy/frothy head sitting atop a handsome orange brew (with mild carbonation visible). Not quite the pungent aroma and citric hops that you get from other harvest ales, but the somewhat subdued character (tangerine, melon) actually works in its favor, as its a bit distinct from other offerings. Yummy. SSSteve (2104), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 17, 2007 A dark orange appearance with a moderate white head. The aroma contains a bit of perfume with some oranges and pine also present. The flavor consist of a bit more malt than Im used to in a IPA. Some lemons, oranges, and pine all over the tounge. Overall a well balanced IIPA, more tame than most. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Cloudy orange amber with short lived head. Subtle hops smell and a hint of baby powder (I must be going crazy). Nice hoppy flavor. I didnt expect this to be so smooth. Nice tart bitterness that gives a little kick in the butt. Very surprised by the hoppy flavor. A bit heavy on the tongue - nice and rich. CaptainCougar (5530), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma of lightly sweet crystal malt and some fresh resiny grapefruity hops. Body starts lightly sweet and very hoppy with a resiny pine and grapefruit flavor and bittering hoppy character throughout. A pretty good double IPA but could be a little sweeter. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Nicely made. Thanks for sharing the 22 oz kmweaver! CelticBrew (713), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA
