Commercial Description:
This triple hopped ale is a bottle conditioned Imperial Style Ale. The fresh green Centennial Hops add floral overtones reminiscent of citrus fruits. Pleasingly strong fresh hop aroma, with good malt tones. Made with pale, chocolate and caramel malt.

Bottle. Poured a dirty amber colr with a big off white head. Aroma of flowers, wheat fields, clean laundry and lemons. Very earthy and flowery taste, with a decent malt backbone. Hop flavors of citrus, fruit and a whole lot of flowers. A nice hop presence in the finish, although it was not aggressively hopped, or even close to that. Very nicely done.

Bomber from Jake65 - thanks! Crystal clear golden amber with an off white head. Looks to be well carbonated. Nose is nice - grapefruit and floral aromas, some grass and a light toasted malt. Resiny flavor, grapefruit rind and light maltiness. Some woody notes come through late, as a light burn is deep in the throat - is it the hops or alcohol? Dunno. This is damn tasty! Bitter, dry, lingering grapefruit rind finish. Excellent webby lace.

Golden Amber color, nice dense white head that lasted the whole pint. The aroma was very weak imo but the taste and palatte were very good. A floral hoppy taste with an easy refreshing palatte. 2008 is my first taste of this ale, so no impressions from previous years. Bottled, 22oz.

Floral aroma with some grapefruit rinds and some leafy hops as well. Pours amber with a thin head. Some funky cat box notes are picked up in the flavor as well as some grapefruit skin. Hoppy but not as fresh or as juicy as last years version. Kind of average and maybe a bit noring.

Bottle. Hazed amber. Wet celery and mossy mint nose. The vegetal notes that I tend to find unpleasant in many harvest ales are especially strong in this one. Body is light, spritzy, soft. Flavor is fresh wet cucumber and celery flavored pine-heavy hops. Feels messy and disjointed. Little to no support for what come across as weak hops.

Bottle: Amber pour with a medium sized beige head. Sticky bits of lacing. Sweet and citrus in the nose with some florals. Tastes a bit sweet, but floral hop based. Somewhat meddled with a bit of rye? Good, but I’m not quite sure about this overall...

pours a cloudy dark amber with a large crean colored head, good lacing. smell of hops and a wiff of pine. taste of caramel, hops, nice bitterness, some pine, wood bark, ends with a very strong bitter aftertaste. overall a very nice hop brew one of the better ones ive had in the that few days.

Bottle and tap. Both exhibit lots of soft, floral hops with a silky, full-bodied malt background. On tap the hops are really on display with a good deal of bitterness and citrus character also playing in. In the bottle, the malts have taken more of the show with lots of semi-chewy toffee playing with the floral side of the beer. Both still exhibit the green fresh hop flavor and feel, but certainly better (quite stellar in fact) as fresh as possible (i.e. on tap). Numbers come from my general final impression of each serving method.
