The nose is sweet, citrusy, nice hoppy aroma, mild malt sweetness but otherwise a very perfumey floral hop aroma. The flavor is mildly bitter, some orange and citrus, grapefruit rind bitterness, mild corn. Nice tasty IPA. Easy to drink, definitely doesn’t stand up to the big dops by style but definitely a nice flavorful easy drinking IPA. arondee (176), Tucson, Arizona, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Formerly a standard brew for me to drink, I’ve moved on to bigger and better things but this is still an amazing session beer when I’m too broke to buy a bunch of 22s. Huge hop aroma, which is to be expected with the large variety of hops present. Very grapefruity taste with that big hop flavor as well. I’m kind of pining for this one right now, should go pick up a six pack. Pawola22 (771), Kansas City, Missouri, USA

Pours a bright, golden orange. Slightly hazy and a firm white head. Leaves a slight lacing after the head dissipates. Smell is loaded with all sorts of hops. None of them stick out, but its very grapefruity with a real piny and earthy tone. Taste is very similar. Slightly malted undertone with an abundance of hop flavors. Biscuity, rough yeastiness, and a nice balance. Finishes dry with a nice citrus bitter linger. Overall, a nice tasting citrusy IPA. Good amount of bitterness and a nice fresh taste. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Bitter smell, small head that sticks around a while. Appears golden orange and cloudy/unfiltered. Nice lacing.
Like all IPAs I’ve had, extreme bitter in the finish until my tastebuds had been destroyed, then somewhat milder.
