Bottle. Poured a clear golden-copper color with a moderate off-white head that fades to a layer but left some nice lacing. Aroma of citrus (light grapefruit, apricot, and orange) and some light earthy hops. Flavor is full of fruitiness, light caramel malt under some fruitiness on the entry lead into a moderately bitter hop hit with even more citrus fruit coming out, along with a light earthy hoppiness. Nice hop/citrus bite on the palate. Very citrusy IPA, pretty enjoyable.

Bottle from Safeway in Davis, CA. Pours a hazy yellow color and I could smell the hops right away. Hoppy citrus flavor with a good balance of malts. Pretty good IPA.

Boltte. Pours a semi hazy yellow. Thin white head and a weak aroma of the good ole IPA hops. Flavor is bitter from the start to finish, end is dry. Notes of citrus. Pretty good IPA, theres better

12oz bottle. thanks to suzygreenberg for this want list extra. pours hazy golden with white head. a big leathery hop aroma with hints of spice. a leathery, citrus, and biscuit. a smooth finish. lively carbonation but not prickly. a tasty ipa, not a PNW/west coast ipa.

Perhaps the best IPA from a bottle "from a bottle," the tap however is piss, perhaps due to the dirty lines every bar has. but none the less BridgePort ballances flavor with pallet in this ale and deserve the credit due for combining ballance with flavor in such an average priced but high quality ipa.

12 oz bottle pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of citrusy hops. Flavor is of hops and a nice malty backbone with a nice bitter finish.

Pours a hazy amber body with a small head. Huge citrusy aroma with the hops. Nice malt balance here. Carmel in the flavor as well, feels slightly syrupy, which is what I like in an IPA. All of the fruity flavors assert themselves upfront with the piney hops following in back. Malt exists in a generic sweetness manner, but nothing very definable. Overall a drinkable IPA, however somewhat unremarkable.
