| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear golden-copper color with a moderate off-white head that fades to a layer but left some nice lacing. Aroma of citrus (light grapefruit, apricot, and orange) and some light earthy hops. Flavor is full of fruitiness, light caramel malt under some fruitiness on the entry lead into a moderately bitter hop hit with even more citrus fruit coming out, along with a light earthy hoppiness. Nice hop/citrus bite on the palate. Very citrusy IPA, pretty enjoyable. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Pours a hazy amber body with a small head. Huge citrusy aroma with the hops. Nice malt balance here. Carmel in the flavor as well, feels slightly syrupy, which is what I like in an IPA. All of the fruity flavors assert themselves upfront with the piney hops following in back. Malt exists in a generic sweetness manner, but nothing very definable. Overall a drinkable IPA, however somewhat unremarkable.
