It’s cloudy and looks unfiltered. Has a large frothy head that settles down to 3/4 inch too soon. Smells like sour funky malt and hops. Must be made in horizontal brew kettles. Mouthfeel is frothy and creamy good. Taste is just medium bitter and kinda boring. There is a little citrus (orange) flavor in the beer. Lacing is superb. Just like I remembered it last summer. Unfortunately had to buy it again to remember enough for the rating. jstrott (9), Georgia, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Apr 7, 2008 bitter, beautiful beer. good flavor. rides the border of too bitter and just right. Clear, light orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. More toasted grassy hops in the flavour with a hint of bitter spice. Medium body. Great with our tasty shared orders of butter chicken, tikka masala and chicken curry (plus an interesting selection of bottles in the fridges!). edmajorjoe (79), Vail, Arizona, USA

I even used it to cook with and it made my corn beef and cabbage taste so much better. Very good and quite affordable. VitaminR (442), Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Sweet piney nose. Cloudy amber with a long-lasting medium head. Caramel apricot sweetness with complex hop balance. Well-carbonated, with a clean hoppy finish. This is not a huge hop bomb by any means, but it is an excellent example of a reserved IPA with elegance.. mar (1939), Dallas, Texas, USA

Aroma is bright spicy hops with some malt sweetness coming through. Flavor hits up front with the hops, balances nicely with the sweetness and then a lingering hop as well. Really nice IPA and has been one of my favorites for a long time.
