Sep 9, 2007 Single bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Pours a light amber with a slight head. Very fragrant aroma of citrus and hops. Taste is nice and sharp, but has a clean finish. Very nice.

Sep 8, 2007 Lighter-colored than other IPA’s generally, and cloudy too. Flavors are piney, grassy, and rind of lemon. Somewhat watery, but it does leave a good aftertaste.

cloudy light amber, good head and solid lace, great northwest hop aroma, solid but not overwhealming hop flavor, lingering bitter finish, cask: takes a lot of the edge off of the hops for a richer and smoother beer

opaque orange, nice white head, sweet carmel malt aroma with a pleasant floral hop character, creamy body,good hop flavor on a balanced sweet carmel malt base, sweetness holds through the last sip, nice yet mild by today’s standards

Aug 27, 2007 Pours a deep amber into the glass with a nice white head. Aroma is piney with some grasslike notes, and the flavor is much of the same. A very balanced beer, great for a session too!

Aug 24, 2007 Pours golden w/ a medium sized, spattered froth. Head retention reduces at a moderate pace revealing a nice and sticky, fluffy lace. Aromas of aged citrus rind on the burnt side. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers that feel like fluffy cotton going down. A respectable hop profile dominates while the brisk malts try to balance it all out. The finish is bittered nicely w/ nuances of citrus rind lingering. Overall: this is a descent Pale Ale. It’s not in IPA in my book. Sessionable. It’s only 5.5% man. Gotta be 7 for IPA. This does not meet my criteria for this style.

Aug 20, 2007 12oz (BridgePort) bottle. orange amber pour. slight hazy, bottle conditioned. floral, citrus aroma. Heavenly, Pacific NW IPA aroma. Great hop flavors on top of a bold maltiness. Medium bodied. Nice bitter finish. This is a Standard American India Pale Ale (IPA).

Aug 19, 2007 Classic IPA in my opinion. Pours a hazy gold color, highily hopped, grapefruit, it is bottle conditioned so try not to drink the last drops because there’s yeast at the bottom and will make you quite bloated.

Aug 18, 2007 Pours cloudy pale amber with a big frothy near white head. The hops travel to your nose before you make it to the beer. Light hop and citrus aroma. Smells watery. Light bodied. Strong bitter hop flavor. This beer always leaves me with a headache.
