Feb 18, 2007 an unusual find at the local grocery store. although the aroma was somewhat mild for my experience in an IPA, i found the appearance, which was slightly opaque, very nice. the taste was pretty traditional IPA with a kind of IPA-standard hops finish. not an outstanding IPA, but in a pinch, its better than drinking the standard yellow fizz.

Feb 18, 2007 Floral and honey nose. Lighter golden color similar to a pilsner with a bigger head. Fairly smooth flavor, although thinner bodied that some of its competitors. This finished 9th out of 10 IPA’s tasted in a head to head competition.

Feb 18, 2007 Approximately 4 oz. sample from a 12 oz. bottle at an American IPA tasting hosted by tennisjoel. This was the tenth of ten beers that we tried. Floral, honey aroma; not very hoppy by IPA standards. Pours a clear brass color with a lot of frothy white head. Malty, floral, fruity flavor, again not particularly hoppy. There is an unfortunate American macro lager-like taste,for some reason. All of the flavors are subdued. Dull in the palate. BridgePort IPA is not awful, but its flavors are overly subtle and not very sophisticated, and I do appreciate more hops in my IPAs than what I received from this brew. It finished ninth on my list out of the ten IPAs that we sampled.

Feb 14, 2007 This is one of my go to beers. It seems to always find its way back into my refridgerator. The other night I had it for the first time on draft. It was a different, and even better experience. A little bit more mellow, but still full of flavor. Great beer.

Feb 13, 2007 On tap at Tapwerks. Got the last half glass from the keg as it went dry. This one didn’t suffer the same fate as the Ofest I tried earlier. Medium amber, with plenty of head. Nice clarity and head retention. Citrus hop aroma hits you first with malt notes in the background. Nice, smooth bitterness in the taste. Wish they had more of this. Nice beer.

Feb 10, 2007 Hazy amber with a nice white head. Non-specific hoppy nose. Balanced taste witha nice bitter finish. A light mouthfeel prehaps. Solid IPA.

Jan 20, 2007 Poured a pale amber color. Nose mostly of hops, with some sweet caramel and fruit. Medium body, and not excessively bitter. An easy-drinking IPA....especially in great quantity. My head is still thumping from the 8 of these I drank last night. Still got 4 left!
