Oct 30, 2006 Bottle. Hazy sunset orange pour. Aroma of hops is big, though tasted is a bit more muted than I would have expected. Good solid IPA.

Oct 26, 2006 Bottle. Cloudy honey color, small white head. Smell: remeniscent of hot, homemade apple pie. Yet still smells like a beer. Very spicey aroma. Taste: a different sensation on every part of the palate. Well-rounded, with nice, biting hops at the end. A little more body on the front of the palate would make add a point to this beer, but overall, very enjoyable.

Oct 25, 2006 Maybe I got a bad batch of Bridgeport, but I tried three bottles of this stuff, and it seemed that either everyone of them was tainted, or I just cant agree with the previous raters. There was almost no aroma to this beer, there was very little body to the beer and it must have a very low IBU because this tasted more like a pale ale than an IPA. Definitely not the "great" beer others had described.

Oct 24, 2006 On tap at Bridgeport, Portland. You can’t always choose milestone beers, but I am pleased that this is 2500. I love the beers from the PNW so a solid exponent of the IPAs from that part of the world is perfect. Hazy gold with a lasting off white head. Enjoyable hop aroma. Grapefruit aroma, slightly sticky hop, some sherbert. Good malt hop balance. Still a huge hop finish, but more manageable than some. Really rather drinkable.

Oct 19, 2006 A slightly hazy golden/orange pour with an almost yellow head that goes quickly but a clinging lace that hangs around. An aroma that is spicy, piney, malty, and I think yeasty. A nice balance of malt and hops in this beer. A nice palate and mouthfeel that is just slightly champagnish. A good beer. One of two beers rated above 3.5 I found at the Kroger in Galveston. That is the way it should be.

Oct 14, 2006 Poured light orange with a good head. Aroma is very strong fresh hops. Flavor a bit washed out, but still nice and balanced. Not the strongest IPA I’ve ever had.

Oct 10, 2006 12oz Bottle pours out a hazy yellow topped with a white head. A very nice hop aroma. Also a good hop tast.
