Excelent IPA even though lighter that most I have tried as far as hops go. I really enjoy this beer when I prefer some thing hoppy, but not killer hoppy. I is bottle conditioned like a homebrew so look out for the sediments. Cool Beer!

Very good IPA, especially given the price. I can usually find this one on sale at Applejack (Applewood Plaza, 32nd Youngfield Colorado) for under $10.00 a 12-pack! What a deal! Pours a medium bodied amber with standard head. Lacing is present. This has that good citrusy flavor and the bitter hops are very forward. Slightly unbalanced as far as hops/malt goes but nothing too distracting. This beer is satisfying, perfect brew to mow the lawn with or to sit outside on your patio on a hot summer day. BridgePort really advertises the fact that this is a bottle-conditioned ale, it must be written on this bottle at least 3 or 4 times. Overall an above average IPA compared to most and probably one of the greatest values in beer. I would actually give this beer a 7.5/10 for flavor but I couldn’t so I compensated by giving it a slightly higher "Overall Impression" then I normally would.

Pours cloudy, dark amber, small white head. Good looking beer. Hops aroma is fairly light. Hops assert themselves more in the mouth, sharp initial citrus wave, rather thick mouthfeel for an IPA, longish pleasantly bitter finish. I like it.

I drank a lot of this on draft in Portland during a recent visit. This beer is a real beauty, a straightforward IPA that has qualities which beg for continuous drinking. The most salient feature is the beer’s softness, which is welcome, considering the high hop content which could, in less able hands, render it piercingly bitter. Instead, it is a quenching, flowery, citrusy soft beer.

Pours a hazy golden color with an off white head which faded to a light film pretty quick. Has a citrus hop aroma. Flavor is mainly hops. Very little malt to back the hops. Has a dry bitter finish. Light to medium body. Worth pickin’ up a 6 when on sale.

Aroma of spicy grapefruit. Hazy golden apricot color. Flavor of grapefruit and evergreen. Fresh. A swish brings chewiness. Midtaste is slightly sweet, but the finish is fresh and bitter. It is one of the best.

From an embossed slender 12oz. brown bottle with a blurb on the neck label and a coded bottled/freshness date on the back label, sampled with the yeast poured in. Made a good appearance, poured a hazy golden orange with a foamy pale tannish white head that settled into a thin foamy, bubbly lacing, moderate carbonation. Had a grainy, caramelized malty and fruity, earthy nose with a little butteriness at the edges. A crisp, hop textured and creamy smooth medium bodied mouth feel, very good drinkability. Lightly fruity and earthy tea-like bitter taste in the forefront, a quick, biting bitterness that smoothes out during the taste, a bready and caramelized maltiness that nicely compliments the hops, a nutty butteriness towards the end and a earthy bitter and malty finish. Tasty and smooth, a very nice AIPA from Bridgeport, would make a great everyday IPA.

Hop malt aroma. Murky yellow colour with poor head and lacing. Hop malt flavour. Smooth palate.
