Not a bad IPA at all. A nice beer to end the World Beer Festival on. It was #49 for me. Perhaps, this number seems a bit low to you. But believe you me, after almost 50 2-ounce samples of beer I was well on my way to hangover-dom. Actually, I recovered from the Beer Festival pretty well... I just went home and took a nap for a few hours and was fine 3 hours later when it was time for dinner. And that, ladies and gentlemen, as they say, is that.

Deep golden color that is almost red. Thick white head that laces the pint glass all the way down. Strong citrus aroma that you can taste the grapefruit like flavor. Finish very hoppy and sweet. It probably deserves a better rating then I have given it, but I like some of the other beers better. It is worthy of try if in the area.

Pours a hazy orange with minimal whie head. Citrusy aroma. Hoppy. Strong grapefruit flavor. Slightly bitter finish.

Sampled from bottle. Pours hazy orange with a creamy white head and thick lacing. Aroma is very pleasant with hard candy and floral, citrus and pine hops. Flavor is nicely bitter with a good bready malt base and more pine and floral hops that were found in the aroma addition. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated and very easy to drink. Somehow, a bit sweet in the finish, but still, I appreciate the malt presence in this style.

Hazy, medium honey gold. Medium light sweetness, acidic, medium-heavy hopping. Tart fruitiness. Medium weight. Grapefruit. On tap at the Flying Saucer in Memphis. Solid choice for the IPA lover.

The bottle poured a light amber beverage with a white, smooth medium sized head that left good lacing as it dissipated to a thin but persistent head. There was the aroma of fresh cut grapefruit and roses. The beer had a medium body with ample carbonation and a fresh, crisp texture. The flavor of citrus is dominant with a hint of the bitterness of grapefruit peel in the background. The middle smoothes out and reveals some malt sweetness and floral tastes. The middle was long, slightly bitter and warming.

This is a top notch ipa. It has an excellent floral and fruity aroma. Excellent appearance, dark orange with an initially large head that eventually fades to a thin white foam floating on the beer. Flavor is a complex blend of bitter hops with herbal characteristics as well as citrus. There is a medium sweet finish combined with a malt aftertaste.

Bottle. What a nice surprise. Poured with a nice head that lasted for some time and laced the glass well. Nice orange/apricot color. Flavor was a well-developed crisp citrus with hints of pine, and fresh grass. The flavor of grapefruit came through loud and clear with an afterglow of maltiness. I found the mouthfeel a bit oily, but overall, this is a winner.
