Jun 11, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with ditmier. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a moderate white head that lasts through mid-glass and laces the glass well. Pleasant aroma of grapefruit along with a few pine notes. The flavor is predominantly bitter grapefruit along with some malt and pine. Bitter finish. Solid west coast IPA.

May 24, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours golden orange with white head. Aroma is citrusy with hops. Flavor is heavy on citrus with nice balance between malt and hops. Not a lots hops for an IPA, but is sessionalble. Not bad.

May 24, 2009 Clear orange pour with a thin white head, aroma is heavy hops and citrusy, flavor is well balanced with hops and malt, hints of grapefruit, finishes dry and crisp.

May 7, 2009 Orangey-yellow pour, nose is rather traditional IPA-citrus, hops, maybe some pine. The taste is similar, but there is absolutely a note of banana hiding underneath it all. The hops are very dominant, but strangely not heavy-handed. One of the better IPA’s I’ve ever had.

Apr 28, 2009 Hazy yellow pour with an eggshell head and moderate lacing. Nose is pine and citrus. Taste recapitulates the nose. Mouthfeel is okay. Finish is mediocre.

Apr 19, 2009 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Strong citrus and pine hops with some caramel hops. Flavor is strong of the citrus and pine hops as well. Nice bitter finish with a lingering flavor.

Apr 12, 2009 On tap at Cooper’s IPA Fest. Pours hazy golden amber with a decent off-white head. Smells like funky floral hops. Bready malts and roses in the taste. Finish is generically bitter.
