Not a lot of nose but a good hop presence in the flavor for sure and a smooth bitter finish. Pretty good ipa. davidajensen (31), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Nothing negative to say about this beer when you consider the price, availability and the great product. bleeng (600), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2009 Draft at the Black Lab Houston. Bright gold, filtered, well carbonated with a small white thick head. Very cold. MInimal nose-probably because of the temp. Starts off very bitter with a nice, mild hop profile and some floral character. Fluffy, mild mannered, but eminently drinkable. Great session IPA. captaincass (45), Everson, Washington, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2009 Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass:
Aroma - Grassy, lemon, and golden malt
Appearance - Golden amber in color. 2 finger white head that dissipated more quickly than expected. Spotty lacing on glass.
Flavor - Nice malty taste at first, quickly followed by subtle lemon and orange citrus, a bit of grapefruit.
Palate - Light to medium mouthfeel. Just the right amount of natural carbonation. Slight hop bite on the finish.
Overall - I’m kind of new to this style. Most are too hoppy for my current taste. However, I find this very palateable would make a good session brew as well as an introduction to IPA for other newbies like me.

Smell clean hops, maybe even a little bit of biscut also. Taste is mildly sweet up front, then finished a bit bitter in the end. Wonderful all around though, has a real nice bitterness to it, but it doesnt linger around the whole time which is nice. Also picking up some kind of spices in there too, not sure what it might be though. I think its just as hoppy as most IPAs that I have had, but the bitterness doesnt linger as long. Really great meshing of flavors in this one! will definatly be picking this one up again. This is something I could drink all day and not get tired of.
