| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 8, 2009 Floral, citrus and lightly grassy hop nose with fruity esters and sweet malts apparent as well.Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a frothy white head that recedes rapidly to a lasting cover with some lacing. Flavour is more than the aroma suggests with strong floral, grassy and citrus hop flavours, some fruity esters and a very pleasant biscuity/toasty malt flavour. Bitterness is notable without being dominant. Pine-like spiciness especially in the aftertaste. Medium body is creamy in texture with gently prickly effervescence. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle. Bottleworks. Aug-08. rederic (1815), montréal, Quebec, Canada
