Jan 31, 2003 I like the subtleness of this porter. The flavors are interesting. Toasted malt, some hints of smoke, and cookie dough like flavors. This isn't a beer to gulp, but a beer, to drink slowly and really think about the flavors.

Dec 20, 2002 Updated: Mar 8, 2003Translucent brown in color. Head large at first tehn collapsing to a thin layer of small bubbles. Sweet caramelized, yeast, cereal aroma accented by some hops. Overly carbonated and light body. Sourish finish. Not interesting and not very drinkable because of the overcarbonation.

Dec 1, 2002 Very nice creamy, frothy head. sweet smelling, but not too impressive. Strong roasted barley finish, which really made me want another sip.
