not my favorite porter. Looks great with the dark brown color and a good tan head. After that the flavoor just doesn’t do it for me. just a very light flavor and not enough of what I expect from a porter.

Sep 18, 2008 Tap at their NW location... Poured black with a light brown head. Roasted malt and sugary candy aroma. Really full and foamy palate. Great coffee flavors up front and a little hops, but then dominated by malt, candy and nut flavors. Dried up towards the finish and a creamy, almond aftertaste.

Aug 21, 2008 Black with faint ruby highlights and thin tan head. Burnt coffee/toffee aroma. Roasty, burnt flavor. Slightly creamy and dry but not astringent. More burnt and roasy for my tastes but that’s the life of a porter

Jul 30, 2008 Just had this the first time on draft and it was delicious! They should refer to this as Bridgeport Chocolate Porter since the Chocolate aspects were most ample.

Jun 5, 2008 Draft. A pitch black beer with a rim of brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt as well as lighter notes of sweet malt (pilsner or the like), leading to a bitter finish. The body is thin.

Jan 12, 2008 1st Brewery 07-08 Beer Road Trip with Bikesandbeer, 12/30/07 @ The Brewpub. Pours black with a light brown head. Nose is sweet and dark malt. Taste is sweet and malty and pretty nice.
