22oz. bomber, with mucho thanks to SuzyGreenberg. Pours dark brown with a two finger foamy tan head, moderate retention and lacing. Aroma is nuts, chocolate, coffee, and light vanilla, oak and bourbon. Flavor is a bit more roasty, with more chocolate and coffee. The flavor is more limited than what the aroma hints at, which is unfortunate; no bourbon or pinot noir to be found. Enjoyable, but wish there was more dimension in the flavor. Thanks again Ben!

Bomber. Poured deep black with thick lasting brown head. Slight lacing. Aroma of roast malt, nuts and vanilla. Flavour of malt, oak, and roast, hints of bourbon whisky and KWV red wine. Lasting malty finish. Sip this and savour it.

Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours dark brown with thin mocha head. The aroma is musty dark fruitiness, some roasty malts mixed with chocolate, molasses and alcohol heat. The taste is rich roasted and toasted malts moving toward burnt malts. Nice. It gets mildly hoppy followed by chocolate malts and a hint of dark sweet dark fruitiness. Nice stout like brew. I get zero wood notes.

courtesy of goodzoid10. A really different approach to a porter. Pours black with a frothy brown head. Aroma reminded me a lot of banana with moderate hops. Some chocolate notes. Taste fruity with spices and roasted malts. Finish of coffee and very faint oak with little vanilla and a very light hoppy finish.

Bottle from the Tasting Group. It pours a deep brown with a nose of coffee, licorice, earth, spice, chocolate, and some smoke. Flavor is coffee, licorice, & malt. Medium mouthfeel with lingering bitterness. So-so.

Bottle courtesy of I think Ibrew2or3. Pours a very dark brown with a one finger tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of astringent roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and astringent finish. Not good.
