Roasted malts, a light sweetness, some earthy hops, and light barrel characteristics in the aroma of this one. Pours a dark brown with a creamy beige head. Bitter and hoppy initially, some roasted malts, oak. Some secondary flavors of wood, earth, wine barrel. Mild underlying sweetness, but mostly dry roast and a good deal of hops. Charred dry finish lingers. Fantastic for $4.99.

22oz bottle from guess who? yes todd. thanks again....pours very close to black with a thin light tan head that quickly dissipates.... not too assertive of a nose at first. a little chocolate and smokey roast at first. then some wood and vinous aspects come into play....flavors werent too assertive to. smoke, ash, chocolate, and a dry bitter finish. maybe a little wood and red winey only at the finish.

22oz Bottle – 99 Bottles – Federal Way, WA – Huge flavor this was an Imperial porter with feet. It needed to be tamed and wow it gave of all sorts of great flavors once warmed up. The 3d is a gimmick and who cares.

Bottle thanks to riversideAK. Pours black with a tan head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma is of smoke, chocolate, caramel, malt, oak, cherries, and booze. Taste is of malt, chocolate, oak, vanilla, and dark fruit. Has many wine characteristics. Has a lot of dark fruit to it and the finish is very dry. Thick mouthfeel. This is not much of a porter, but it is damned good. Lingering booze bite.

Velvety brown pour, huge tan head that fades quickly. Aroma of bourbon, grapes and a little oak. Cold it tastes heavily of vanilla, warmer it fades to heavy bourbon notes and milder vanilla and coffee flavors. Slightest hint of grape. One of the best aftertastes of any beer I’ve ever had, creamy and vanilla laden. Awesome label with the 3d glasses and all.
