Nov 8, 2009 Sampled during Dark Lord Day 2009 near table 7. Pours a semi-clear golden orange colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light cherry, wheat and a touch of cork. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation, with flavors of wheat malt, some light cherry and a touch of yeast. Finish is a tad on the sweet side than tart per label’s description.

Oct 15, 2009 22 oz. bottle purchased at Food Emporium. Appearance: Pours a reddish-golden color. Aroma: Cherries (duh) and sweet malt....it almost smells like cough syrup. Flavor: Like a Belgian Tripel and cherries, with a hint of banana.

Sep 30, 2009 22, capped and foiled, courtesy of Hogfodder, who had it given to him in Cleveland. Oh, the tangled web of travel this beer has woven! Pours a dull, dark red with a thick and creamy pinkish head. Stale CO2 and synthetic fruit nose. Ugh. Creamy medium body. Mid-palate of stale cough syrup and synthetic something or other. Not pleasant at all. Very little finish.

Sep 27, 2009 From a 22 oz bottle obtained from the Market of Choice in Eugene, Oregon this poured a hazy red with a big bubbled and quick dissipating off-white head with pink tinges and not much lacing. Nose is lightly cherry and wheat. Mouthfeel medium body. Favor is dominated by the sour cherry and yeast. Sour finish.
