Commercial Description:
The pioneering spirit that made us Oregon's Oldest Craft Brewery ® is the inspiration behind our new European inspired big beautiful blonde ale, S?pris. Drawing from our heritage of fine ale craftsmanship, we pursued a fresh flavor direction that would encapsulate our history as well as our vision of bringing the best flavors of the world to your pint glass. S?pris is crafted with European two-row malt to maintain a clean, rich flavor that is delicate and immensely satisfying. The unique blend of hops from Germany, Czech Republic and Slovenia deliver a smooth flavor that contributes to the overall unique balanced dimensions S?pris offers. S?pris is naturally conditioned in the bottle and keg in the BridgePort tradition, and that’s where the similarity to our other beers ends. S?pris brings a distinct experience to the palate with ample effervescence and understated robustness.

Bottle, slightly cloudy appearance, with a bit of hay aroma, fairly large taste, but nothing crazy. A decent belgian ale. Light and heavy at the same time with very little hops is, as is to be expected.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a fading white head. Medium body and carbonation. Peachy yeast aroma. Interesting taste. Just a little lemony sourness, some fruit (peaches again?), cashews, with a spicy herbal finish. I could see this being very sessionalble, but it doesn’t really leap out as being "Belgian" to me.

Bottle thanks to dubbercody I beleive. Yellow-orange pour with a white head. Faint aroma of yeast and not a whole lot else. Flacors were light too...some yeast and a bit of lemon zest. Light body with a crisp finish.

Bottle thanks to nolankowal for sharing: Clear yellow in color with a white head. Aroma, faint yeasty notes, and some pale malts, and I was reaching to find that. Not much there. Flavor, a little bready, with some light fruity notes. Pretty bland and flavorless, but what is there is not all that great.

Bottle. Pours a deep blonde with an aroma of honey and straw. Slight white wine flavors with raisiny pumpkin. Full mouthfeel. Heavier than average blonde; definite repeat.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Very eastery aroma of lemon, yeast esters, and mild orange/citrus. Similar to Leffe belgian golden, but lacks a bit of carbonation that would breath more life into it. With this much spicing in a beer I can’t drink much when it lacks the high carbonation of most belgian blondes. Still a nice beer with a lot of yeast character for a US belgian brew.

On tap at Bridgeport, Portland. Like a Belgian wit with a bit more tangerine, with a passing nod to a tripel. More bananary esters. Nicelemon. Good wit, full of flavour, but still that clean feel. Flavours are intense too. Lovely
