A solid session amber session beer with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of biscuity malts, red fruit and a hint of earthy hop. Flavour started with some sweet malts, more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Ok. evilempire (122), sheffield, South Yorkshire, England

Amber beer with a chlorine aroma, and a mildy toffee and weakly hopped flavour. Overall a very disappointing beer due to the aroma. imdownthepub (5186), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

What a pleasant surprise, this is an archetypical quaffing bitter, just doing it slightly better. Biscuity dry malt with a floral, pleasingly standard tea like hop. The locals had suggested that the brewer hadn’t quite got his beer right yet, well on this evidence, he has.
