Got some nice toffee and cereal, but quite clean, almost tart on the fiish. Not as good as erdinger, quite a deep toffee though and tart. Tad over carbonated, which takes the roundness off it. Some sweet molasses

Oct 5, 2005 (on tap at Tom´s Sportbar, Holzwickede) Dark red-brown colour with a foamy tanned small head. Shy roastmalty aroma. Soft sweet and malty flavour and taste with caramel, but only light dry hopbitterness in the background and finish. Smooth and easy going Dunkel but it lacks definitely taste and character.

Jul 11, 2005 This beer is very hard to find on tap, Dortmunder assured me. Tasted in a Dortmund pub on the Market Square, in the good company of Dortmunder. Peach aroma. The flavor is totally different. Strong caramelly flavor with just a touch of roast. Some caramelly bitterness in the aftertaste. The giant gave it its best shot, but didn’t succeed entirely.

Oct 7, 2004 Clear dark ruby-red colour. Medium bubbly head. Slightly malty aroma, with a hint of roastmaltiness. Slightly malty, sweet. A hint of caramel. Mild finish. Slightly smooth texture. Decent.
