Beehive is a refreshingly gentle ale, with a honey-gold color and just a suggestion of sweetness in the finish.

Draft, Brew at the Zoo Benefit in Denver. Poured a cloudy gold-yellow color. Head was thin and white. There was a whiff of vanilla and sweet cream with an overall modest nose. Tasted of fresh cereal grain, vanilla, and a hint of citrus.

Bottle. A heavy honey wheat bread smell. A great mild bodied wheat ale with a nice touch of honey.

12 oz bottle. Pours a glowing hazy golden orange with a fizzy white head that quickly dissipates to a small collar that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is lots of sweet honey with earthy vegetal notes.

The flavor is some sweet honey and earthy grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied but pretty washed out and watery.

Overall, this is a pretty bland beer. Not offensive and slightly better than macros, but not something I would seek out.
