Commercial Description:
Beehive is a refreshingly gentle ale, with a honey-gold color and just a suggestion of sweetness in the finish.

Peach color with a dense head of small bubbles to 3/16th inch. Light malt and mild floral hops. Sweet yeasty thing. Flavors of light salt water taffy(bananas, lemon, and undetermined fruit. Odd sweet flavors and mild astringency.

Bottle (Jun 07 bottling). Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light to medium yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, husks), lightly hoppy (grapefruit), moderately yeasty (dough, sweat). Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, husky, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Quite poor...extremely raw-yeasty nose without much enjoyable behind it, and an unpleasant aftertaste.

This draft brew from a motel poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy yellow-orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was bready. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of initially fizzy cardboard and dough. An OK brew just nothing special.

Bright orange-yellow and opaque. Little overt flavor, but a subtle citric character. Smooth. Not noteworthy. Their least impressive effort.
