A full bodied, premium strength golden ale, clean, crisp and refreshing with zesty citrus hop character. Ingredients - marris otter pale malt and carapils malt; Gold has only one type of hop: Pioneer for bittering and aroma.

500ml bottle at the Grain Barge, Bristol. Deep gold in colour, with a decent, foamy off-white head. Aroma of apricots, oranges and a touch of caramel. Flavour began with some sweetness, before a spicy hop kick and decent, dry finish. Good.
