Apples and malty grain in the aroma. Very fruity but a little thin. Lightly hopped, quite nice.

Cask gravity at Battersea BF 08. Chestnut with lasting beige head. Looks in good nick. That’s alright. It’s a best bitter, decent berry fruit. It’s actually pretty good considering the 4 beers that went before. Mind you I did get bored with the English beers after this one and went onto the Germans.

Cambridge Fest Pleasant malty bitter with twiggy notes from the hops. and a touch of licorice and hint of coffee from the crystal malt. A well put together beer in nice condition. Lingering twang. Some fruit in the middle. Very drinkable.

Pasteurised bottle. An ok bottled beer which was amber in colour and poured with a slight head. There was some malt in the aroma and the flavour was red fruit with some hops in the finish. The Bristol Beer Factory has improved over time.
