Almost chocolatey malt aroma with toasted almonds and cream. Hazy red-brown with a dense, tan foam. Creamy nuts flavour with a touch of brown sugar and a weak bitterness and not hops. Weak flavour overall. Light body, low carbonation, very slightly bitter finish.

Aug 10, 2009 A Mes rate: cask at the Microbar.
Darkish amber with a pretty impressive off white head. Assertive fruit and nut character but with some really good earthy malt in the background. Big caramel finish. Possibly a little under hopped but for something that I would not usually think too much of, I rather enjoyed this.

Jan 26, 2009 Cask, Derby Winter Fest 09. Red brown with an off-white head. Aromas are earthy and spicy with sweet Autumn fruit and caramel. Quite "Kentish" in its hops. Flavours are dry and earthy with light berries. Peppery and bitter on the finish. Decent>
