Sweet malt aroma with a hint of the hops which lend a light floral taste to the straw like, sweet base. It does dry out at the end though.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Apr 26, 2007 Cask conditioned at the Cottage, Bristol 24/4/07. Pale gold with a slight head. Slightly muted aroma of grassy hops followed by a hint of citrus flavour and some malty sweetness. A decent session beer.

Mar 29, 2007 Cask (gravity dispense) at London Drinker Beer Festival 2007. Clear, mid-gold colour with some spicy, slightly lemony hop character and a gentle, underlying cookie malt presence. Pleasant and easygoing but not hugely assertive.
