22oz bottle. Cloudy with a deep orange base that evolves to a bright yellow crown. Spacy swirling head. Lotta fruit aromas. Melon, Berry, Citrus, little musty. Floral woody, great, great nose! Citrus bomb, then the mild caramel malt. Piney spicy citrusy every hop adjective available. It was a hop slam.

A hazy orange beer with a huge fluffy orange head. The aroma is sweet malty and spicy with lighter notes of caramel and alcohol. The flavor is sweet alcoholic - the alcohol biting the tongue, combined wiht light notes of spices and citrus, leading to a dry alcoholic end. The body is quite thick.

A very nice hop-bomb from Bristol. This brew features 29 different varieties of hops... yeah, that’s right... TWENTY-NINE!!. So you can definitely expect this brew to be very punchy on the hop end of the spectrum. The malts are there as well. Good enough to attempt to balance this brew out. Pours a nice deep orange color with a nice head that dicipates quickly (can be expected with a brew with this high of an abv). Lacing is definitely present in this beer. If you like hops then this is your beer. The only big downside is that the alcohol is very present in the flavor. Otherwise it’s a very good brew from Bristol.

Bottle. Golden and orange coloured with a rather large head. Sweet and slightly malty. Notes of fruit, citrus, pines and hops. Feels kinda sharp and alcoholic.

Bottle thanks to Oakes. Orange colour with a medium white head. Sweet malty, fruity, citrus, hop aroma and a very sweet fruity, hop taste. Medium to full body with a sweet light alcoholic finish.

A very good DIPA. The Edge City Double pours out a great golden color with a huge head that has retention and leaves tons of lacing on the glass. The aromas are strong--tons of citrus and piney hops come at you fast. The taste is plenty of hop bite right off, but there is just enough malt to keep things in balance. I didn’t get the alcohol in the taste which was nice. The mouthfeel is full and very refreshing. Thanks BeerandBlues!

22 oz bottle. Pours a golden orange with a large fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is very sweet with pine, pepper and fruitiness and a little DMS.

The flavor is sweet sugary melon-ey malts followed by some spicy peppery pine. The finish is a subdued hop bitterness - kind of underwhelming for an IIPA. The alcohol is fairly well hidden but it sneaks up on you. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some sharp carbonation.

Overall, this was decent, but a little unbalanced towards sweetness. I would’ve like to have seen a bigger hop bang. This seemed more like an English-style barleywine than a DIPA.

22 ounce bottle from BeerandBlues2. Poures with a huge resinous white head. Light ambe with gobs of lace. Tones of resiny tangerine and grapefruit, pine, caramel and toffee aroma. Lots and lots of pine and citrus flavor. Good caramel, toffee, and toasted malts keep the ample bitterness in check. Long sweet finish with a pleasant alcohol burn. The body is full enough to give the body substance, but light enough to want to drink more.
