Not a whole lot going on in the nose but the bittering hops leave a crisp and dry finish. Not quite as good as Only The Best Pilsener, but still a good lager. Color is a bright yellow/gold with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is clean and bitter. Starting with a light body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish comes on with a smooth malt flavor backed by a faint hop flavor and a bold bitter end. This may be one of the best and most well rounded Pilsners I have ever had. greatbratzkie (7), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 24, 2007 Great micro pilsner - very refreshing taste and worth the trip to the brewery. Very grainy and strongly bitter flavors that finishes slightly sour. Not a bad pilsener. BeerandBlues2 (3230), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 7, 2005 22-oz. Bomber. Pours bright gold with a small foamy white head; spotty lined lacing. Sour malt with a fruit/citrus hop blend and a yeast, bread-like nose. Hoppy start with a malt yeast body and a spicy citrus rind hop finish. Spicy, lively carbonation with a crisp, refreshing light bodied palate. KAggie97 (2476), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

Pours a lackluster cheddar, but the nice carbonation gives it a life. Aroma is a sour champagne smell. Flavor is like champagne with mango. Palate is surprisingly coating. Not bad; in fact, I’d drink this again. Quite refreshing. ratman197 (3254), Arvada, Colorado, USA
