| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Bottle. Pours an iced tea brown with a normal head. Nose is malty toasted nuts. Flavor is very thin and not as robust as others of the style have been. Slight roasty notes and continuation of the toasted nuts. I am not a big fan of Scotch Ales and this was just a reinforcer of that. ph0tik (71), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Had this at an Old C’s from a bottle. Nothing special as far as scotish ales go but not bad either. Pours a dark brown/red with fairly little aroma. There wasn’t enough other flavors going on to balance out the sweetness. hepburn82 (141), Scotland
