A little grainy, but more graininess than any actually hop flavor. Also had a little metallic taste in the finish. Still, drinkable. alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Hints of belgium, again, very surprising. Finish is smooth, aroma is malty, but fairly crisp and fruity. Decent stuff. hopdog (5629), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2005 Poured a light to medium and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. I’m not getting any strong aromas but what I do detect are ice tea, flowers and caramel. Tastes of cookie dough, caramel and citrus. Thinner body. jcwattsrugger (5582), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2005 Manitou Springs, Colorado. 700th beer. Very nice beer, nearing the final legs of a trip jaunting across the great North American continent. In a maritime/cowboy tavern/shanty in Manitou Springs. Flavor is good, all told. Friendly server, though completely absent minded. Maybe her star tattoo on her neck and her flowers or metal tattoos on her wrists were distracting her. Or maybe it was life. Who knows. Here’s to the end of a good run. 1FastSTi (2591), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 31, 2005 Poured this one from a 12 oz bottle. This one pours to hazy garnet/brown color with a thin white head that disapated immediately. Cookie dough and dark red plums. The flavor is full of malts. The initial flavor is smooth and has dark fruitiness. The finish is toasted malts and a light smoke. The palate is a little watery. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2005 Nice head, clear amber color. Aroma is funky with a strange dry coffee smell to it. Taste is a earthy, caramel malt with well balanced sweetness. Finish is bitter but just a tad lacking. Very strange amber but why all the hate? An interesting beer. jigglyjock (159), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 15, 2005 Pours a honey golden brown with a creamy slightly brown/white head which does not dissipate quickly and does not lead a craters. A smokey plum nose. It tastes like a smoked ale’s little little cousin. Has a dull water weak hoppiness with a sweet accent. Has a medium body making the flavor linger shortly.
