| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 5, 2008 Hazy orange amber pour. Moderate head that is rather short lived. Very toasty malty aroma with a soft berry fruit undertone. Beautifully malty. Toasty bread crusts and dark caramel with a subtle sweet stewed fruit note and low bitterness. There is some quality malt in this beer that is the star performer so hop heads may not be very impressed. I loved it.
