Commercial Description:
Mass Transit is a flavorful ale that goes down effortlessly. Crystal, carapils, victory and vienna specialty malts give this ale its rich auburn color and mellow taste.

Poured a light to medium and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. I’m not getting any strong aromas but what I do detect are ice tea, flowers and caramel. Tastes of cookie dough, caramel and citrus. Thinner body.

AMber color with a quickly diminished ecru head. Malt house aromas, along with brown sugar and molassas. Starts thick, sweet and malty. Ends thin, bitter, acidic and astringent. Nothing in the linger makes you want to have any more.

Bottle (Jul 07 production). Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie, caramel, husks), lightly hoppy (flowers, apricot), lightly yeasty (dough, basement). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Poor/dirty aftertaste and a light/dull/grainy aroma. Below average.

True amber with a hint of a head. Light malt aroma. Very Festbier-like character ... caramel, mostly, with a roasty finish.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a diminishing off white head. Aromas of carmel, bread and toffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, toffee and a hint of chocolate with a smooth malty finish.

Pours light amber. Floral malt aroma. The flavor is a light roasted malt with a bitter end. Mild palate.

Hazy orange amber pour. Moderate head that is rather short lived. Very toasty malty aroma with a soft berry fruit undertone. Beautifully malty. Toasty bread crusts and dark caramel with a subtle sweet stewed fruit note and low bitterness. There is some quality malt in this beer that is the star performer so hop heads may not be very impressed. I loved it.
