3rd rating, a special hand bottle from the brewer to sprinkle to me, shared with hopfully enough peopele to get this beer official. Pousr blackish with a tan ring. Nose is sweet coffee. And some pumpernickle bread, if you haven’t try it and expand the color spectrum of your bread. Taste is sweet and rich and smoky, rich and nice. Yes this is good, good enough for people to recognize broad ripple with some quality.

Notes from Indy Winterfest. Pours black with tan head. The aroma is of corree, sweet malts, fruit, apricot. Flavor is sweet, coffee, chocolate, apricot, lingering bitter coffee. Palate a bit thin for an imperial stout. Overall a good not amazing RIS

Cask conditioned and served from a firkin at the Brewers of Indiana Guild Winterfest. Pours oily and inky black. The nose has lots of molasses and dark berry notes. Very mellow and easily drinkable blend of roasted grains with a slight earthy hop note in the flavor. Quite full bodied with low carbonation. It drank like I’d imagine a real ale in England would drink. A real treat for sure.
