| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Sampler on cask at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazy amber with a thin, creamy, beige head. The aroma is of piny, citric and earthy/resinous hops with a solid caramel malt backing. The thin side of medium-bodied and super slick with very little carbonation and a big bitter finish. The flavor begins with a sweet, solid caramel front followed by big citrus, pine and resinous hops. With a little more carbonation and/or body, this beer would be killer. As it stands, it’s pretty good. Tmoney99 (4729), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Tasted like sweet bread, and had an extremely bitter finish. Tasted nothing but the hops after the swallow.
