Commercial Description:
A pale ale on the malty end, but with a moderate gravity making it good for those hot days. The Lawnmower Pale Ale is a loght, sloghtly sweet, delicately hopped blonde ale. Appropriately named for its thirst quenching abilities. Very Quaffable.

From a growler filled two hours earlier, by John Hill, owner of the Broad Ripple Brew Pub. Very pale gold with little head. Sweet malts and a biscut like grain. Sweet, sweet taste, a bit fruity (apricot) with a mild hop finish. Average weight and slightly sour in the finish.

Pale golden ale with aroma of fresh hops. Nice crisp malts with light hops in finish. Lighter bodied, and quaffable. July 30 04.

(sample @ brewery) a hazy pale yellow beer with a small head and minimal lace. aroma is lightly sweet, and malt is the pimary flavor, though very subdued. balance is actually quite good. body is light, and drinkability is high. not the most exciting beer, but aptly named and very serviceable.

The brewer introduced this to me as just "The Lawn", but I’m nearly certain this is the same thing. The smell was cool and clean. There was no head and the body was a deep yellow to light amber. It’s a sweeter than normal light beer.

Draft sample. This beer formed a small sized white head with fine-small sized bubbles that quickly diminished. The body was transparent and uncarbonated with a pale yellow hue. The nose of this beer was malty, hoppy, sweet, fruity and some citrus notes. The flavor was flat, bland, boring and lacked character with a just a bit of malt notes. The mouthfeel was smooth and dry with a watery and thin texture. This was a light bodied beer with sparse lacing.

This draft sample poured a small head of fine to medium sized white colored bubbles. The body was transparent yet slightly hazy and yellow in color. The aroma was mildly malted and almost totally missing. The mouth feel was flat with an initially malty feeling that lingered well into the finish. The flavor was missing the hops and was almost absent without leave! Very little flavor to say the least.

From a sampler: This beer is a clear gold color with a thin white head. Very little lacing. The aroma is Lager-ish. Light-bodied and mildy hoppy throughout, but not much else going on flavor-wise other than hints of malt here and there. The finish is kind of docile as well. I understand why the name, as this is an unexciting but drinkable beer.
