Rastacouere (5355), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 7, 2008 Objectively speaking:
Interestingly enough, a completely opaque golden pils that came with exageratedly grainy malts.
I like:
Takes an interesting toasty approach. Quite aromatic. More yeast than most which leaves it with a tart tang that fits the herbal and zesty, lemony hops. It certainly is a tasty little lager.
I dislike:
Not completely clean, soapy flavours which would fit their English styles better manage to pear through. Lots of not so pleasant graininess. Relatively sweet for a pale lager which is detrimental to drinkability. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 1, 2008 on tap-pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is an off sweet grain, secondary continental/herbal hops. Taste is an off sweet grain, some cardboard, secondary continental/herbal hops. Gregis (923), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Oct 18, 2007 Sampler at the Brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Bready pilsner malt and grassy/fruity hops on the nose. Light-bodied and thin with medium carbonation and a dry, lightly bitter finish. The flavor is pilsner malt backed by solid grassy hops. An unusual pilsner in that the flavor leans considerably more toward the hops than the malt, while remaining fairly well balanced. Pretty nice. sliffy (1951), Columbus, Ohio, USA Aug 31, 2007 On tap @ the Brew pub: Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma, yeast, pale malts. Flavor, crisp grainy malt notes, with some light bready characteristics, and some light floral and grassy hops. Pretty good pilsener. Tmoney99 (3620), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 22, 2005 Sampler draft at Broad Ripple. Clear amber color with moderate white head that diminished slowly. Moderate aroma of hops. Light to medium body with pleasing texture. Moderate flavor of hops with a medium smooth refreshing finish.
