Aug 21, 2006 Draft sampler at Broad Ripple. Hazy yellow with a thin head. Has a bit hefe than an American wheat ought to have. A touch of banana and clove, but just a touch. Still, a very suitable summer beer, served without a lemon, thank you.

Jun 6, 2006 Draft at brewpub. Cloudy orange color with an average rocky white head that diminished slowly. Moderate complex banana citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body. Medium sweet flavor with a sweet spicy finish of moderate duration.

Sampler draft at Broad Ripple. Hazy golden with a medium head that diminished quickly. Medium malt and wheat aroma. Medium body with smooth wheat texture. Well balanced flavor of citrus, wheat and malt with a medium sweet finish.

Sep 15, 2005 Depends on what you like in wheat beer. This is the deliberately unoffensive American style (ie., no phenolic aromas, flavors ), but it is fresh, I guess. Even a true hefeweizen reminiscent of Schneider or Hacker would be out of place in an incredible British brewpub such as this, but it would be really GOOD beer nonetheless.

Jan 23, 2005 From a growler filled two hours earlier, by John Hill, owner of the Broad Ripple Brew Pub. Cloudy yellow with a small head. Sour malt aroma as well as some sweetness in the nose. The flavor is of yeast, wheat, light malts and citrus flavors. Average finish.
