| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 24, 2009 Amber, haze and sediment. Very phenolic, metallic hop charcter and lots of it. Has earthy bitterness. Some metallic hop. The malts were flat and did nothing to help the hops along. Beershine (2710), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2009 bottle. Pours thick. Is cloudy red-brown-orange brick color with slim white cap. Aromatic. The hops are both bright and earthy. A powerful aroma that signals strength. Has a lot of orange peel. Also soil, minerals, and bay leaves. Smells big and ballsy. thick, big bodied beer but is very smooth and does not seem hot at all. Has a lingering roasted malt toastiness in the finish that makes it stand out. Very balanced. Is a nice pocket of hop for me, bitter, dry, and earthy without being dull. Nice job! chrisv10 (361), Denmark
