Cask via handpump at the Star, Highgate, London N19 on 18th July 2009. Amber, and slightly hazy, with short-lived, fully-dissipating off-white head. Sharply bitter with malt aromas overtaken by salient bitterness which lasts to a very long dry finish on a slightly textured mouthfeel afforded by mild natural carbonation (condition). Some grassiness develops later.

Cask @ London Drinker 25: Very copper with a bubbly white head. Barnyard and orange aromas. Orangey and light, smooth and silky. Like the honeycomb from a Crunchie bar but with buttery raw beef. Oily in texture with a tiny, grating dryness. Very nice bitter, a little of everything. Yummers.
