Draught. Pours a cloudy gold with a nice white head. The nose is fruity with hints of banana, cloves, a little wild forest (in the way of leaves and woody tones). The palate is medium light. This is a very refreshing beer which still maintains respectable complexity. Think a hefeweizen with a bit more zest and a spicier finish. The flavor has many soft, sweet notes of banana and other fruits, while the finish brings out lemon and more spices. This is a wonderful "light beer". If I didn’t know better, I’d say this was an authentic Belgian product. I ’d love to see Brooklyn bump this up to a trippel to accentuate more of the subtler flavors.

On tap at the Drafting Room. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of Belgian spices and yeast, bready, some citrus and bubblegum. Flavor were a nice mix if the same. Very well done American Belgian

Sweet, thin, corny swill... with spices! Like they mixed a perfectly servicable beer 1:1 with refreshing glacier water.

Appearance: Clear golden body with a medium, lasting white head. Smell: Soft spicy aroma with a touch of breadiness and a light floral hoppiness. Taste: A mingling of light, sweet maltiness and spices. Mild breadiness. Strong bubble gum notes. Light, leafy hop flavors on the spicy finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Moderate carbonation. Somewhat watery. Drinkability: A light, refreshing beer that pairs terribly well with temperatures in excess of one hundred degrees.

Clear blonde body with a medium white head. Honeyed cereals swimming in a yeasty potion. Light fruity notes of banana and citrus fruits. Full chewy body. Light-medium hops presence with grassy notes. Simple basic blonde Belgian ale. Well put together but ultimately as memorable as a chain-restaurant linguine alfredo.

Yeasty pale, a case where Saaz hops worked. Yeast and the hops in the aroma No lace, Active carbonation. Medium mouthfeel like a Golden except lighter. Blind taste would say this was brewed in Belgium. Good for the style. On-tap at the Old toad.
