Jul 9, 2007 Sampled on draft this beer poured a robust golden color with a small white head. The aroma was sweet, bready, yeasty and had a hint of citrus. The flavor was sweet, citric, yeasty and had a hint of butterscotch. There was a long yeasty finish. Very nice for a single.

Jul 7, 2007 Draft at Coles in Buffalo. Coppery body with a small white head. Spicy flavour, with sweet malt underpinnings, and light alcohol presence. (7+)Aroma is similar, with the characteristics a bit more muted. Average to medium palate. (3+) Solid Belgian style brew. Alcohol comes out a bit more in the finish, with light toasty malt notes.

Jul 5, 2007 Tried a 3oz (gasp!) sample at Tyler’s in Carrboro to see if I wanted a whole glass. Nope. Pours was a hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of spices, a little bit of breadiness, and some sugar cubes. Flavor was mildly fruity, sweet, and spicey hops. I did not love this beer, but I appreciate the effort from Brooklyn.

Jun 25, 2007 Draft at Tyler’s, Durham. I have to say this is a pretty bland offering from this generally solid brewery. A fine looking golden body with fluffy head, there’s very little life in the nose or, it must be said, in the body. Faint fruit and spice notes to start, but gets very watery quickly. Pass.

Jun 20, 2007 This was from Bierkraft in a growler. It pours an almost orange with notes of big fruit. Bananas and pineapples. The flavors on the paalte offer sweetness along with a nice crisp finish.
