| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Beer pours out a with a redish amber hue and a light fluffy off white head that quickly shrinks down to almost nothing. The aroma is sweet and slightly fruity with a light toasty smell from the malt. Overall, the aroma is light and pleasant. The body is light with very little carbonation and a slick mouth feel. A slightly bitter flavor with light notes of hops though it is rather lacking in a longevity. The brew looks nice but has almost no body or substance, quickly diminishing into a watery rather bland beer. mar (1831), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2009 bottle: Tried as Brooklyn Pennant ale 55. Not a bad brew but tasted in a session with Brooklyn Oktoberfest, and I much prefer that one. Arouma is grainy with yeast, biscuits and grassy (a bit pale laggery, if you ask me). Finishes bitter with some spice.
