Malty toffee flavor with soft hops and some fruitiness. Has a wet paper note and the finish is a little metallic. bag (103), Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Jul 4, 2008 From bottle... poured light orange with tall, white pillowy head. Musty aroma. Low in flavor (mostly light malt), which is fine for a drinkin’ beer. But the palate on this ain’t good... leaves an unpleasant bitterness. Still relatively easy to drink, but not at a premium. I’d rather drink Labatt Blue. Gregis (1135), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Bottle purchased at Sam’s Wine & Spirits, in Chicago. Pours a clear, dark copper with a finger of creamy, off-white head and sheets of creamy lace. The nose is of sweet, biscuity malt backed by woody/earthy Fuggle and lightly citric hop notes. Light to medium-bodied and lightly creamy with a mildly bitter finish that includes a touch of astringency at the swallow. The flavor follows the nose, coming across as a tad too sweet and astringent for my tastes. Overall, however, this isn’t too bad. Cruzan59 (197), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2008 Hazy tea color. Lacing white head. Smells of yeast and malt. Smooth hops. Dry ending to a very malt start. A bit too dank and yeasty for me. nuplastikk (1252), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
