Hoppying lingering bitter at the end. Nice British ale style with great hop character. Alcohol was fairly hidden. Nice one. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2007 Orange w/ peachy highlights. Some lacing. White head. Some pinetrees and ugli fruit in the aroma. Citrusy hops mixed with floral hops. Unfortunate alcohol bite at the finish that cheapens the experience. By the end of the pint it starts to get abrasive and soapy. JCB (1799), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Draft at Tyler’s, Durham. Very nice pour, like a IIPA with a deep amber color. Fluffy head, potent nose with a big hop fist to the face. Intense pine and citrus that don’t back off, even with some mild protestation from the malts. A slight sour pucker and a very long finish. This one’s pretty good, but not something I’d have too often. wingman333 (250), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2007 Draft...amber-golden color, cloudy, with thick white head, massive hoppiness which though delicious sticks with you. It actually rendered the usually tasty Belgian dubbel I drank afterwards virtually tasteless. So my advice is - if you like hops drink this but if you plan to try other beers during a session drink this one last! gottalottaibu (243), charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2007 (Tap @ Brooklyn Brewery) Described by the tour guide as a triple IPA. Pours a shade of orange with a dense white head. Strong aroma of pine and citrus hops. Taste is similar, with a sweet malty character that is slightly cloying. This throws off the balance a bit. A good beer, but could have been a little less sweet. Still has a decent hoppiness that imparts a long, bitter finish. anders37 (4796), Malmö, Sweden
