It has a medium body and a slightly slick, oily mouthfeel. The flavor is heavy on the citrus with a nice malty sweetness balance. Can’t wait to go back. illinismitty (1809), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Draft at Capital Grille in Fredricksburg, VA. Pours a hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of citrusy hops. Medium bodied but a tad lighter on the mouthfeel. Pale malts take a back seat to a simple tangerine and grapefruity bitterness. Simple but good. My notes are not very detailed on this one. yobdoog (1543), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2009 I would like to see this type of thing on bottles from BB. Nice overall rich and juicy beer. Some citrus and caramel with a nice hop bitterness, a bit oily but balanced. WISEGUY572 (1252), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 12, 2009 A nice double IPA. Hazy gold pour, good white head, good lacing. Good mouth feel. Now the important stuff: Great bitterness and grapefruit citrus hops, with some floral notes as well, and a solid sweet malt backbone for balance. Long bitter finish. Stands up nicely to a serious chili. OHscar (16), , Sweden

Apperance: Golden orange with a huge, creamy, head. Very little lacing.
Aroma: Pine, Citric notes, Caramel, Fruit and some malt.
Flavor: Exotic fruits, Caramel, Pine, Citric notes (lots!) and plenty of hops!
Palate: Very drinkable with a nice balanced bitterness for a DIPA. Any presence of alcohol is not detected.
A very fruit and balanced DIPA from Brooklyn. Definitely the best beer i’ve had from this brewery so far. Recommended! alexsdad06 (1136), Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 18, 2009 Draft @ the Dilly Deli. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a medium sized white head and little lacing. The aroma is big resiny citrus hops, pine, and moderately sweet from the malt. The flavor has caramel malt that holds its own with the resiny citrus hops. Finish is dry with good bitterness. Medium-full bodied and smooth on the palate. This was a nice surprise to find on tap. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2009 Draft @ Charleston Beer Exchange: This was not what I was expecting, seeing the DIPA tag, but it was still tasty. The beer has a clean hop, yet grassy character, with an underlying sweetness of dark sugar. This was an incredibly drinkable DIPA, and very well-balanced. Malts come through big time to lend to balance and although it is not the hop bomb you think it may be, you still find yourself wanting more of it.
